One of Bradenton's uniquely wonderful features is the Village of the Arts. This village is a renovated neighborhood just south of downtown where residents are able to both live and work from within their homes, thanks to special zoning laws. Many of the homes in this village were once rundown, but today have been converted into artistic and charming studios, galleries, small restaurants and a number of other small businesses.
